The cable should be attached with the length of the wire running down the length of the unit. If you align it "backwards" (and on all but the XL, this is possible) you'll get this very error message. | |

Yes. The Magellan Explorist 600™ is a model with the rectangular Lithium Ion battery and it will recharge that battery. | |
